I have an old Celeron PC with an USB slot. I have already got the modem from Data One, but I don't know how to connect to the internet. It looks like I will have to install some software(driver). Where do I get it? Please help me. I am sure you will....

Need to install PPPoE client on the CD given by BSNL along with the Modem.

I am assuming that you don't have a network card in your PC.

If you have then all you have to do is configure PPPoE in your modem and you are good to go.

let me know if you need help

u need to have ethernet card in ur system and a driver installed for that device...

or

you can use an USB port for the same...

modem driver should be installed first... and follow the process as it is in the "add new connection" in the control panel
