I am having the same problem.

Tried resetting the iPhone's network, resetting the router, etc.

Other WiFi devices connect to the router/gateway just fine, but my iPhone 5 no longer will. The router/gateway SSID shows up in the iPhone's WiFi list , requiring a Password, but doesn't accept the PW given by AT&T. Does the iPhone save settings/parameters for connecting to networks ?

If so, is there a way to delete these settings from the iPhone , and then establish a new/fresh connection. Resetting the iPhone's network does not solve the problem.

So my iPhone 5 stopped connecting to home wifi. iPhone worked at other locations with wifi. Other devices, MacBooks, PCs connected fine with home wifi. Tried forget this network, soft and hard reset, airplane and cellular off and on, unplugged for the night the router, turned it on and off, tried typing in IP address, Domain, DNS, Subnet mask etc from a different friend's iPhone in the house (which his worked fine with my wifi)....nothing helped. Finally called my carrier and they heard all I said and he said to press the tip of a pen into the "reset" hole of my router. Viola!!!! it worked. my iPhone is connecting to the home wifi again. Geez...easy fix, but I didn't know there was a "reset" hole in the router. I guess it resets the entire router to the original factory settings....does more than just turning is on and off or unplugging it. Hope this helps someone else because this made me crazy for 4 days. Good luck.

FIXED!!!! I have been struggling with this for MONTHS!!! Nothing has worked.. Reset Network Settings - NO, Reboot Router - NO, Update to latest IOS - NO, Reboot iPhone - NO, Stand on one foot - NO. Here is the fix you have been waiting for: Log into your wifi router and disable WMM Power Save. I have been able to recreate the problem again and again. Turn WMM Power Save on and same old iPhone wifi problems. Disable it and viola . it s been a long road but it s good to finally be at the end of it.

On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Restart your iPhone by holding down on the Sleep/Wake button, then slide to power off.

Hold on the Sleep/Wake button again to turn your iPhone back on.

Then, try to connect to your Wi-Fi network again.

There is a few things you can try... 1 Reboot your Wi-Fi Router 2 Forget the Wireless connection. (You can do this by pressing on the arrow on the Wi-Fi Network that you are trying to connect to, Hit 'Forget this network') 3 Try a reboot 4 Try a reset (hold down the sleep button and when you reach the 'slide to power off' screen, Continue to hold until the unit powers off completely. Then power up as usual.) 5 Try a Hard Reset. (Very similar. But as a normal reset but this time hold down the home button and the sleep button together at the same time. Power up as normal but make sure you do not hold down the home button on boot. This will enter DFU Mode.) 6 Try a iTunes Restore. 7 Ensure your iPhone software is up to date. 8 Take it to a friends house or hotspot. Try and connect to their network. Should you have the same problem. Take it to a Apple Store Genius and get them to have a look. Best of luck! Hopes this helps!

change your home wireless router security settings to WAP Personal. I was having the same issue with one of our iphone 5S s and could not figure out what it was but found a post in apple support. we use an airport extreme, so i just went through the utility and changed that 1 setting and nothing else and updated. the phone immediately connected to wifi. worked for us.

GAAAAAH NEVER RESET YOUR HOME ROUTER I don't know why apple support suggested this or how it could possibly work to fix the problem.

Inside your home router it is programmed with your adsl username and password and other information specific to your ISP if you press the reset button you lose all that information and the router has to be reprogrammed.

Trust me I own an ISP and that is the most common issue we have when the internet stops working people think it might make it work by pressing the rest button but all that does is destroy the programming so now you have 2 problems.

Some women may like you but still want you to work for it. And don’t whine you’re going home alone if you never tried to get her to come home with you. you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

same here, I think after the last update they set the phone to stall on wifi so you use your data plan up. Data means $ for provider. Going Galaxy s6 tomorrow. Apple is a bunch of Nazi s and I m moving on.

Try going to a public wifi, such as Starbucks. If the signal level is good, then it may be a degrading router. If not it may be a degrading iphone.
