FED UP with Comcast and there crappy service and Internet. Who has the best DSL Service and Satel?

Basically, I have been a Comcast Customer for 4 years now unfortunatly. I have finally met my limit with them. I have there triple play package, and alot of extras, $200 bill a month(supposed to be). As you can see over time I have given them alot of money and all I ask in return is Reliable service. I havent got it from day 1, but lately its been REALLY BAD. I run a home based business where I need internet and phone 24/7. My phone calls will drop, I will randomly hear buttons being pressed(while not pressing any), my internet drops more then DIAL UP and I cant even go watch the crappiest video quality on the internet, because my "high speed" is so slow and laggy.

And, they tried to raise my bill $40 a month.

Im done, I am cancelling my service tomorrow.

Im leaning toward getting DirecTV. DirecTV will give me my same service( Phone, TV, Internet) for $100 a month. Thats 250 channels, 70 HD Channels, Unlimited Phone, and AT&T Internet. Thats a steal. Granted it will end up going up, but still that is a pretty good deal. I believe only AT&T is being offered in my area.

So questions...how is AT&T Internet and how is DirecTV service? I dont want to leave what I have now for worse Internet and Worse Service. Im a huge sports fan and i hear DirecTV is top notch for that. Can you get as many HD channels as you want with DirecTV? Like say I select there cheaper packagee with only 150 regular channels, can I still get the 60 HD channels, etc? And how is ATT Internet speeds, etc? Im probably going to get middle class 4mbps because even tho Comcast says its 20mbps its nowhere near that atleast there download speeds arent there a joke.

Please let me know what Im getting into by switching.

FIOS is the fastest speed internet available and more expensive too about $65-$70. You may also want cable optimum internet which is $50 dollars a month, this is what I have now.



However I want to downgrade to Verizon DSL to pay less because I don't use the internet too much. The cable optimum internet is mostly reliable, but sometimes it gets slow, its not super fast like FIOS but fast enough.



If you hear someone pressing buttons while you're not using your phone, you may have a hacker using your internet fro free. Make sure you put the right settings. Put a lock and the WEP so no one can use your network. Many people are are using free internet like this.



This can be serious, because they can see your personal information, like credit card and bank account number.

my question to you is: Have you had Comcast come to your home to fix your problem? It sounds like you have some poor wiring in or around your home.



ATT DSL will not be any faster than anything Comcast can offer, assuming the Comcast wiring is set up correctly so you have solid, reliable signal levels.

look this is a very easy Question there is nuting better then Verison fios u will never get any thing better then that trust me i have had dsl,cable and thats sh?t vs fios dsl you will only get 1.5 mbs that is about 150kbs download if u have cable that get 10mbs that is about 1,000kbs if u have fios like me i get 30mbs i get about 3,700 kbs so go with fios and be the king like me i own everyone lol no 1 gets 30mbs 3,700kbs like me if u have any thing less then fios =-)
