I have a Netgear wifi signal booster that has been working great. Yesterday the signal was lost and now when I try to connect it says Limited and wont let me get on the wifi. I have reset it and done just about everything to get it to work. I so need help. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this problem. All three lights are on and it shows full signal bars on the computer but it keeps saying Limited and wont let me use the internet.

Hi,

You can try running ipconfig /release on windows command prompt ans see if limited connectivity goes away. You can also try giving a static IP on your wireless adapter from your DHCP range and see if you still get limited connectivity. Usually this happen when DHCP is unable to lease a new IP and previously assigned IP on wireless adapter gives a duplicate IP lock to wireless router. Check your PPOE settings as well.

First thing you now can do sinse you try already to reset is. Unplug the router after that disconnect the cable Rg6 from de router( I'm talking about the black cable TV that is normally conected with the router) wait couple minuts. Put everything back on . Wait couple minuts, after that restart the computer and try to browse . Good luck

Try this...it may work Right Click My Network Places and select Properties --> Right click the Net adaptor icon andselect properties--> Select the last option [TCP/IP] and click on the properties button--> now put in the IP address, DNS Alt. DNS etc. (you should know it, ask your ISP)--> Click Ok and then OK to the other network window, it will work. You may then enable your firewalls, and anti-virus, etc.
