Hi all,

I have been trying to sync with the MS Exchange Server at my work place.

(I have all the relevent permissions on my server account)

I have come to discover that I need a certain certificate installing on my device to enable me to do this... I have been on the certificate manager on the Windows Mobile Device Centre on my PC. When I select certificates to install, I press to accept on my HTC and then get an error message saying that the certificate cannot be transferred.

So, firstly, what certificate(s) do I need exactly?? And does anyone have any ideas regarding my connection issues with the server?

One note - I can sync with Outlook through my computer but not through the server - wich is what I want to do so I can receive emails/calendar updates when roaming.

It is probably talking about a machine certificate. You would need to talk to whoever runs your Certificate Authority server to get your HD2 a proper machine certificate.

Ask your IT guy it email you the SSL certificate. This way you can manually install it on your device.

If your company is using a "self signed" certificate you may run into trouble.

If the certificate is from a trusted sourse such as Verisign, Thawte or GeoTrust it should be pretty easy.
