how do i make two networks, communicate with each other seamlessly like its in a single subnet?

NETWORK1 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
internet-->modem-->firewall/router--> switchA-->LAN1

NETWORK2 192.168.20.0/255.255.255.0
SwitchA--to WAN Port-->firewall/router-->LAN2

network2's internet is coming from NetworkA's SwitchA to the WAN of my Sonicwall Firewall

using Computers on LAN2 i can ping the computers in LAN1 but not from LAN1 to LAN2.

i have read about Static Routing, NAT etc.. but nothing seems to make sense.

could you please tell me the things i MUST configure. with as simple explanation as possible, ill try to work it out from there.

any help is very much appreciated! thank you very much

You need to set a static route on the LAN1 router pointing to the external subnet of LAN2, then the same on that router for incoming requests.

purely approximately all homestead routers haven't any exterior console port. a number of those you are able to SSH to their handle, yet configuration must be finished by their information superhighway interfaces. Internally, many homestead routers do have "pads" for connecting a serial cable, frequently noted as a "JAG" cable. that would desire to enable some terminal based instructions, based on what firmware is working. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, maximum individuals don't have the talents or time to solder a custom JAG cable to the internal circuit board of a house router.... maximum homestead routers, until eventually they have some "prompt bridging" or "shopper" mode, can't communicate over with a minimum of one yet another by prompt - homestead routers are designed to be get admission to factors purely in maximum situations, not purchasers...
