Need software for Site-to-Site VPN connection. We are having 2 branch offices and 5-7 computers in each branch. Now we want connect all the computers in these two branches just like they are on local network. I know via hardware VPN it can be possible but at present its not feasible for to buy h/w VPN. So some other solution for this (even any paid software).

Any "site to site" solution like what you want to do using software is going to be fairly costly as well. Why? You'll need a system to act as the gateway on each end to run the VPN software. You could do this with a couple of PCs and Linux or FreeBSD on each end would fit the bill nicely. There are specialized distributions like IPcop, M0n0wall and PFsense that would all do a fine job at this.

What's the Internet connection at each site? You'd be surprised how inexpensive this could be to get done.

For instance, I see loads of older Netscreen 5GTs on eBay for $50-100. 1 of those at each end of the connection should suffice. Very easy to setup & maintain as well.

There are some websites that will do it for a small fee or you can find programs to setup on each machine to do it such as hamachi (https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/) Hamachi can be unsecure since it is a free client. hamachi should meet your needs but you may want to setup a firewall on each of the computers in quesiton.

My partner and i highly recommend using VPNPower in order to unblock web-sites. I've been using them since 4 years. http://www.vpnpower.net
