Hey, my sister seems to ALWAYS be streaming shows off the internet, I managed to block the main website she uses in the router settings but I have a new problem... She is now going for alternitive websites and now that she knows I blocked her websites, she won't let me near her computer.

I was wondering if any of you guys/girls would know how to track what websites another user of your wireless network is searching up. Note that I have a DLINK dsl-G604T, I am running windows 7 however my sister is on a mac (iOS)

Please help or I she will keep putting us into shaping at the end of the month!

That was my previous question, a few people said to use 'wireshark' but I have no idea how I meant to use it for my problem? Explain?

A proxy is the best way to see URLs being requested, but that's not a trivial project. Wireshark is a network traffic analyzer which would grab the traffic and show the URLs, but once again, not easy unless you know the program. You should try and find a way to resolve this with your sister. The network stuff is not always that easy to implement.

This no longer in basic terms can paintings, it does. There are nevertheless many token-ring terminals in use because of the cost of fixing them. And a sixteen meg token ring has approximately as lots throughput (usable archives) as a a hundred Meg Ethernet. Ethernet in basic terms got here lower back into play as a significant participant because of the invention of the Ethernet swap, in the previous that the main purchasers that would desire to effectively be on a LAN section became approximately 30. Token-ring would have thousands (despite the fact that no longer recommended). besides for the conversion, you in basic terms set up a Gateway with a token-ring card and an Ethernet card. the two verify to the MAC handle. -tcw
