hotspot shield alternative or vpn workarounds for linux?

i live in Sudan so i am blocked by both my government as well as some company websites hotspot shield helped me work around this on windows however now i use Linux so i cant use hotspot shield are there any alternatives. note i do not have a server outside sudan.
