You need to find out if you have a static ip or a dynamic ip. I have static and have not figured out how to change it yet aside from taking my laptop to the local mcdonalds, dunkin donuts, starbucks or wendys (they all have wifi internet, so that will give you a new ip, so if you only need to do something once, just go there if you're on a laptop), but when I had DSL I changed it simply by turning the modem off for about an hour and then turning it back on. This wont work with a static ip though, and if you have high speed internet, chances are you have a static ip. I've tried ipconfig/release with static and it doesnt work for me.

base line do no longer complication. the different solutions are all spectacular, all restarting your computing device will do is substitute your computing device's IP handle given by your router that it makes use of to maintain track of your cyber web requests, and that's supplied which you bypass away it disconnected out of your router for a undeniable volume of time or substitute the "inner IP of your router manually. additionally there is not any way for them to are transforming into your IP off of facebook because of the fact your IP bounces off of facebook's server and could substitute to a facebook server IP they could would desire to track your IP by getting previous facebook's protection first. in case you're relatively worried you could reset your modem in case you have a dynamic IP or call your ISP a request a transformation.

Go into the properties of "My computer".
There on the first tab, find the TCP/IP Protoc.
Usually located on the bottom of the list.
Next, click on the sign, then on Properties.
There can change the IP-address of your computer.
And then check on http://whoer.net/
