Ok I recieve my internet on my laptop via a wireless network and i play online games on it...

I keep getting bad lag on the actual web browser and it is not the actual web browser itself.

I know that is is the wireless network which is causing the problem because when i plug my ethernet cable directly into my laptop the lag stops on my browser.

I used to have a linksys router and I used to get problems with that so I bought a new top of the range one. It is a D-Link.

Now i don't know which in my network is causing the problem is it the built in wireless card in my laptop or is it the router downstairs.

My laptop card is a (wireless B) and my router is (wireless G) Could this be the problem.

Please tell me how i could find out which is causing the problem or weather i can resolve this lag by changing anything.

Please help ty

You can buy or MAKE a cantenna that will probably improve your reception. Look around online for a wifi cantenna. Other then that, I'm out of ideas.

definite - on the spot interference is a continuing discomfort contained in the bottom for platforms directors. the most elementary project is conflict in channels... if numerous on the spot networks are making use of an similar channel, complications can upward thrust up that forestall or maybe forestall connections. this can get fairly gruesome even as a longtime community is disrupted via a smaller community that's making use of a booster. In that challenge a smaller community can surely block the more advantageous community in a huge section... i don't know ways you've your community set up - yet you would favor to envision some type of regulations or coaching for brand new RV's entering your section. in case you in simple terms supply them the community call and password as area of their get correct of entry to, which could get rid of your complications. the different, more advantageous guard attitude could be to limit the U. S. of on the spot networks that do not adjust to the single you've common. -dh

If you have cordless phones try unplugging them temporarily and trying the connection again.
