If you have a setup CD for the router run that...if you dont...

type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar at the top of your web browser(the same place you type "www.what ever website you want to go to" hit "enter"

a window will pop up -on new D-link router the username is usually "admin" and the password field is blank (just click "ok")

A menu will come up...click on "wizard"

run the wizard,,,select the proper setup according to your internet connection type (DSL or Cable)

Put in the user name and password you have from your ISP

make sure DHCP is enabled

exit the wizard

if either of the pcs on your network cant connect-reboot them...

I had an identical component ensue to me. i presumed it grew to become into my Airlink101 router, even though it grew to become out that it grew to become into the crappy modem (the single presented by skill of my isp). when I replaced the Modem the project went away. it style of feels that the modem only could not cope with heavy site visitors.

You will need to read the instructions in the manual for the router in order to configure its' settings first.
