I already have a wireless router which BT gave me when I signed up for their broadband, but I keep losing the connection when I am playing online on the Playstation. The PS3 is about 30/40 feet away from the router (including 2 doors in the way). I need a good wireless router so that it never loses the connection and it has good WEP security. Many Thanks

P.S The price can't be any higher than £75.

There is several ways you can do this. You can get a single router like netgear. They have a good range on them. I have tested a few in old houses and they have one of the best ranges.

Another option is to get a new device called a homeplug. You can buy these all over but check them out on www.homeplugs.co.uk. They are about £20 each and you need a minmum of 2. Therr are several manufacters so get the one's for your budget. They plug into the mains and transmit your network though it. One end is your home plug to router and other end is homeplug to pc/ps3/access point. So even in a large house you can transmit your network over a distance. There is also wireless home plugs too.

Also have a look at a wireless bridge. This is a device that receives a incoming wireless network then retransmitts the wireless again. Like a repeater. These can be expensive around £80+. You can get a one from Maplin. www.maplin.co.uk. These are good devices but can be a little awkard to setup.

Overall I would suggest the homeplugs in your situation but checkout all options.

Hope that Helps
