You can restart your router to see if that helps. Hard to tell if you have actually logged into the router to forward the necessary ports. Have you done this yet?

**********

You will have to do a factory reset on the router this will change your SSID or Router name and with verizon routers there is usually a tag that providesthe default SSID, Login ID, Password, Network Key.

This will only affect computers using the wireless network as you will need to connect to the new network name and Network Key.

You will then have to then have to login into the router by entering 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

Login with the default user/pass - you can then change your router settings such as login id, wireless security & port forwarding.

READ!!!! Ok I also have a server and I ****** up the port forwarding so I restarted it and I screwed up my Internet for 2 days. Make sure u only restart it with the reset button on the back of the router. This will cause u to have to make a password for your Internet and if you renamed your internet ( linksys to warrior22) it will be the default name so in this case to linksys but everything else should be fine

You usually shouldn't have to restart your router to port forward. If you do restart your router, however, it wont do much. Just... Restart. Like a computer... Powers off... Power on...
