The company I work for sends emails to another company on a regular basis. As of two weeks ago, The queue for their domain has been stacking up rather that going out. In the Event viewer, their are 7010 event errors. The weird thing about it is that it does this randomly. It may work in the morning, then during the day stop, then start again. The IT guy on their end said he checked everything and I cant seem to find any reason why this may be happening all of a sudden. If you need more info let me know, i'll be waiting for answers.

I would have the other person look at the spam filters if any. By the way your described it, it sounds like there is a performance issue with the remote filtering that is causing mail to be delayed to due over load. That is the most possible issue by how you describe it. I would triple check that there have been no changes with either network or exchange servers.

I hope this helps.

Exchange is complex and queues can get stuck, firewall configurations change, Active Directory security descriptors can break or change. I suggest you repost this on the Microsoft Technet appropriate for the version of Exchange you are using.

Often just clicking on the automatic links in the server event log error message will take you to a resolution or at least a hint.

For all I know you may have a loose network cable.

is this other company part of your orginazation? if they are its an authentication issue, if not your machine maybe sending the XEXCH50 command when it shouldn't be. they must have an exchange server to. Also check the FQDN name matches the MX records.

That error is basically a "not allowed to relay" error
