While it may say your connected, you may just be connected locally instead of a full connection. When you are connected locally, then you can send files to other computer on your network, but may not be able to connect to the internet. Try right clicking on your wifi/ network link and see if you have a limited/ local connection. Try using the repair feature on vista if it appens to be a local/ limited connection. Also, a firewall may be blocking your connection. Try disabling your firewall temporarily and see if that helps.

The AVG would desire to have not got any result on the relationship skill. Am working AVG and Vista on various computers without issues. once you get a connection, pass to makers internet internet site and see if there is an replace to the community driving force. some structures have been pushed out without recommendations-blowing interfaces for Vista.

3 common reasons.

Wired or wireless?, this happens when you plug an ethernet wire in when using wireless. Disconnected the wired.

Or you are connected to the wrong network, a neighbours, as you dont have there key it will connect but not go online

Or you key you entered is wrong.

Same thing is happening to me so I have to plug my computer straight into the modem because the wireless says i'm connected but I can't get on the internet. I use linksys, they are a peice of shiit. This stupid stuff always happens to me with Linksys.(wireless provider)
