I have a laptop.I worked in several location.I take my laptop in offices or home. But LAN environment is different in each location. I have to change tcp/ip setting for network connection frequently. IP address, mask, DNS, gateway, DHCP, proxy, etc, it is very time-consuming and boring to change them every time. So, any good solution?

DHCP is supposed to do that - set up DNS, gateway, address and ntp, at least.

Linux has a profile manager that will do that - maintain different profiles that may use DHCP, or static addressing, along with wireless keys and SSID settings

You may save these settings into different profiles, and write scripts to activate one of them when you get to different location, but this only for professional user.

If your OS is windows, I suggest you use some software to save profile and activate it. There are many small tool software to solve it, freeware or shareware.

I have used a software - IP Shifter, it is good solution for your problem, it can save IP address, mask, DNS, proxy, etc. related parameters into profile, When you change tcp/ip settings, just active one profile, it is convenient.

Of course, you can use other similar software, you can search it. Good luck.

Leave it on DHCP; the vast majority of networks you connect to will be set for that already. For the few that aren't you can use something like IP Switcher (URL below). You didn't mention what OS you're using so it may not work for you.
