You cannot change your Internet IP if you do not own it. ISPs own IPs and distribute them as they see fit on their network. IPs are like house addresses, they are similar around eachother and the IPs designate a geographic location more or less. If you somehow changes your European address to an american one, yet you are still living in Europe, mail (or internet traffic in this case) could not be routed to you.

The only solution I can provide to you is that you research into a company that will allow you to VPN (virtual private network) into them. This is 1 possible, and probably the only, way that you can get an American ip address. Research for VPN America

If you are located in Europe it's not really possible to change your IP address to an American one. You could perhaps use an American proxy server but I'm not sure if this would work with the game you have.

Hello,

Here are some general options for CHANGING your IP address. You specifically asked about changing your IP to a different country, so unfortunately I think you may be limited to option #3 (using a service). Although public proxies are an option, as other users mentioned, they are nearly impossible to find these days, and definitely not fast enough for gaming purposes.

Again, the following are some general options for CHANGING your IP address (not just for gamers).

* If you're doing this in an attempt to prevent people from tracking you, be sure to delete your browser cookies and restart your browser before trying any of the following.

1] Are you using a dialup ISP? If so, just dialup through a different access number. That will give you a new IP address. Simple and convenient.

2] Do you want to just change your IP address once? If so, go to a free Internet cafe or library. That's inconvenient, but simple.

3] Do you need to change your IP address often? Using a service like iPrivacyTools.com will make things easy. Simple and convenient, but it does require a fee.

4] Now for some ways to manually change a broadband connection's IP address. The following instructions are for Cable/DSL users that want to force a single IP change. These instructions will often work, but not always -- some ISP's are really serious about keeping users on the same IP address.

4A] On some ISP's, just turning your modem off for 24 hours, and then turning it back on, will give you a new IP.

4B] If 4A didn't work, and you're using Cable/DSL, and you have NO router:

....Go to your START menu, type "cmd" and hit enter.

....At the prompt type "ipconfig /release" and then hit enter.

....Right-click on the icon for "local area connection" and click "properties".

....Doubleclick on "Internet Protocol tcp/ip".

....Check "Use the following IP address" and enter 111.111.111.111 for the ip and 255.0.0.0 for the subnet mask.

....Click "OK" twice to close the dialog box).

....Wait 30 seconds, then go back into that dialog box and instead of "use the following IP address" click on "obtain an IP address automatically".

....Check to see if your IP has changed.

4C] If 4A didn't work, and you're using Cable/DSL WITH a router:

....Login to your router's control panel and change (clone) your mac address by increasing or decreasing the last digit by 1.

....Then disconnect and reconnect using the router control panel interface.

....Usually you'll get a new IP address.. To verify, go to your START menu, type "cmd", hit Enter, then type "IPCONFIG /all" to see your new IP address

4D] If nothing has worked above:

....Go to your START menu, type "cmb" and Enter.

....Type "ipconfig /release".

....If you're using a router, log into your router control panel and "release the ip".

....Turn of your computer, modem, and router for severals hours.

....Go to START menu, type "cmd", hit Enter, then type "IPCONFIG /all" to see your new IP address

4E] Second option if nothing has worked above:

....Contact your ISP and tell them that you've been having trouble with your current IP address and want a new one.

....They will hopefully give you the specific steps necessary to get a new IP address with them.

....Get a new ISP.

Hope that helps!

Well if you are using DSL you dont really need to chang it.

Reason: most IP that offer DSL use what they cal stadic Ip address. meaning every day you get a new ip address comming to your modem and then your modem converts that ip address to the one your computer knows.

If you want to still chang it you will want to log in to the rounder most of the time you can open internet explorer and tip in the address bar 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.2

For the password if you are using a Netgear then most of the time the user name and pasword will be eather admin or amminastrator and the password will be password or 123 or abc.

Once you do that you will want to go to IP settings and then you will be ablel to chang it there.

After you do that you will want to click on start and then control pannel and then networ connectison

then right click on local area connection and then you will want to doble click on TCP/IP. and put a bubble in the use the following ip address. Exapmle :

IPaddress 192.168.1.21

Sub mask 255.255.255.0

Defalt gatway . . . .

pefered dns . . . .

NOTE: you will want to set your ip address to the same you set your DSL ipaddress to.

Get Tor

http://www.torproject.org/

And proxy Firewall

http://proxy-firewall.com/

You can use it from behind someone else's servers. Just configure a socks proxy for your game.

Only what you can do it is to use USA proxy servers. But proxy servers must be stable and fast.

You can find probably what you need on:
