I am using XP SP2, BlueSoleil version 6.1 (it updated drivers while installing) My new Nokia 6500 slider, has had no problem pairing with the computer and transferred files from it onto the computer. However, I want to send stuff from the computer to my mobile, so I can personalise it. Windows says it can't find the device, then when I go into control panel to turn on the discovery and connection settings, Windows says it was unable to do that!!! It's driving me crazy. Any computer geeks out there have any suggestions???

Thanks :)

What drivers was updated? The reason i am asking is when you update driver or drivers and after the update you start having problem you can be rest assured that the updated driver(s) is the culprit. Having said that make sure both your computer and phone blue-tooth are activated and they are not more than 10 yards from each other.Good-luck

Did you have your bluetooth mobile activated to 'receive' from the PC? Make sure you click on Discovery in the bluetooth options within the properties box so that the pc can pick up your mobile device the other way also. Left click on the bouetooth icon in the taskbar and click on "send file"....to your mobile

If that's not what you've already done then i can't think of anything else to suggest, as my receiving and sending is fine.

Your cell phone has to be fully charged and not too far away from your computer, best if the phones plugged into the mains.

i have had similar problesm to yours. Sometimes, .mpg files will not work for WMM. I am not sure why. Also, DVR-MS files will not save unless it is Windows Vista you are using, and if you are, I'm very sorry for you. ps. you can download freeware to convert .mpg to.avi .avi etc. I use SUPER.exe and it is very reliable. :D hope I help!
