Linksys AC3200 is not the model number of the router. It is an indicator to the maximum concurrent WiFi speed that the router could support in ideal conditions.

With a PC connected using Ethernet, find the gateway address that the computer has been assigned. In Windows, you can access this through Network & Sharing Center. Open an Internet browser and enter the gateway address in the address bar. Different router's use different gateway addresses. You should be able to log on to the router using the information in the User Guide or Quick Start Guide.

If the details have been changed from the factory defaults, for example, if someone has used the router before you, then you might have to reset the router back to its factory state.

If you can access the router, but not the Internet, then the problem could be the modem or the ISP connection.

If you have a cable modem, you may need to get its details registered with your ISP.

I hope this helps.

You can't access the router login page. This can happen

______________________________________________

> If you (mistakenly) or someone else change the default loging ip (192.168.1.1). In this case, you can find it if your pc is connected with router. Press windows+R >typed cmd in the run box > Enter > type ipconfig/all > enter. It will show you bunch off stuffs. Search for > Default Gateway. This Ip is your router's login ip.

or, Right click network Icon > Open Network And sharing center. If you are connected to router, click on your network name. (Right side of your Active networks. The blue colored text) > Then press 'details'. Here you will find Default gateway Address. It is your router login ip.

>May be someone else logged in and Specified a PC to access the Router's Web-Based Utility. By default, it is set to All local pc. But if it is set to Only the PCs listed can browse the built-in web pages to perform Administrator tasks, then only specific PC can access it. If it happens, then your pc isn't on that list. In this case, only way is, you have to reset the router to access again from your pc.

You don't have Internet

-------------------------------------

> Login to router. Check the router WAN info or Internet Connection Info if it is working or not.

> Check The modem.

> And last, if still no Internet, you have to call ISP for this. from whom you have taken your internet connection.

you just need to type in the right IP. not every one is 192.168.1.1. in this case you need to use www.routerlogin.net oh its usually ALWAYS printed on the LABEL stuck to the router

Couple of things to try.....

Make sure that you are connecting to one of the LAN ports, you cannot access the router setup via the WAN port.

With your ethernet cable connected to the PC and to the router, check the status lights on the router to make sure the two devices are able to detect each other - if not you may have a dodgy ethernet cable. If that checks out then click on the network icon on your desktop (if it's there - if not get there using "File Explorer") and look for your router - you may find that the IP address is not 192.168.1.1, it could be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1

From memory the setup access codes are Username: admin and Password: 1234
