Your router should have an ip address. If you find the ip address you could type it in the address bar of your web browser and access your router configuration web page. This web site will help you find your routers ip address: http://compnetworking.about.com/od/workingwithipaddresses/f/getrouteripaddr.htm

For Linksys, the typical default router ip address is 192.168.1.1

it would be useful in case you indicated your router form. Regardless, you will desire to get the handbook for it via fact the handbook promises the authentic "the thank you to do it" information to your router. you will desire to enter the router's LAN IP handle on your internet browser, then log in with consumer call and password to get to the router configuration. From there you will desire to be certain the DHCP pool and then be certain which static LAN IP handle you go with for to offer to your X container. then you definately circulate to the port forwarding web site in router configuration and open the port 3074, define it as TCP or UDP as is mandatory according to X container documentation, and assign the port taking off to your X container IP handle. Your router IP is probably your default gateway. that's discovered from the ipconfig command in command instantaneous. when you have accomplished each and every of the above substitute X container IP to the static IP handle to which port 3074 is pointed.

On the PC open a command window....Start---Run----cmd

In the window that open type "ipconfig" (without quotes) then enter

The information it shows for default gateway is the address of your router. Normally it will be something like 192.168.1.1 , 192.168.0.1 , 192.168.1.254 or 10.1.10.1

Next open your web browser and put that address in the address bar.

That should get you to the login prompt for your route, if you don't know the username and password check out http://portforward.com, they have a list of many routers default username / passwords.
