If you have a router, you don't need to use ICS with your laptop. Connect the PS3 to the router, not to the laptop. ICS forces the 192.168.137.x ip address, but that wont work with your router, since it uses 192.168.1.x.

The IP address you assigned to your PS3 is not on the same subnet as your router.

Your router has 192.168.1.1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0

Your PS3 needs an IP address of 192.168.1.x with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0, otherwise it's on a different network and the port can't be forwarded to it.

I truthfully have an identical set up for Utorrent on cable...Mine does not choose port forwarding. try to see is your firewall is obstructing. Authorizing µTorrent on your firewall human beings employing the Microsoft homestead windows XP firewall: circulate to ideas > selections > Connection, examine "upload µTorrent to homestead windows Firewall." human beings employing different firewalls: you will might desire to refer on your application's very own documentation. via default, the µTorrent listening port is randomized every time you initiate µTorrent. If mandatory, that's locked to a particular port via: circulate to ideas > selections > Connections, uncheck "Randomize port"
