Fast internet that isn't cable or dsl?

I just moved to a new house and i'm a gamer, as in xbox live, and cable and dsl won't reach us. Right now we're trying the verizon mifi mobile hotspot but we're using up too much that we won't be able to keep a contract. The only other option i know is satalite internet which i heard is horrible for gaming. does anyone know any other way?

As a gamer you do not want Satellite or wireless network gaming in general. You can see if Fiber is offered in your area (it's not cheap), and then other options get more expensive from there like T1 etc.

A cable internet is however a fast internet. Try using EVDO (Evolution, Data Optimized) a high speed wireless broadband internet. It is a advanced CDMA internet and slightly fast.

You don't want satellite at all. Wireless is ok if you have high bandwidth and a wireless N router. I'd see if fiber or something is available. Other than that, not sure.
