My family's laptop and Nintendo WI works online threw the router. When I click on Wireless Connection on my own laptop and choose a wireless network the name of the router pulls up, but I cant go online. I have the correct password for router. I know that the ISP address is not pulling up and I went threw Command Prompt and found my ISP address, but I couldn't connect to the internet. What am I missing?

Make sure your firewall isn't in any sort of lockdown mode that would prevent internet access. Also attempt a wired connection and see if you can access the internet via Ethernet or USB connection. Another thing to try is:

1. Start > Connect To > Show All Connections

2. Right Click on Wireless Network Connection and click Properties

3. In the General tab you will have a window that may or may not have a scroll bar, find Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click on it and then click on the properties button.

4. Make sure both bubbles that say obtain automatically are selected

You'll have to connect manually to your router and set it up for a dynamic IP address. Contact the router's manufacturer and they'll walk you through the whole thing.
