I have 2 laptops and a phone. In all of them I could see available wifi networks. But since a few days one of my laptops has stopped detecting wifi while in my phone it showed a lot of available networks. I can't even connect to the network I was able to. I have windows 7 starter edition. It says no connections are available. I tried troubleshooting but no use. I just want to know why it suddenly stopped detecting the wifi. If you need further info. let me know.

Thanks in advance!!

I agree with noa. It does sound like a hardware problem.

Perhaps the antennae in your computer has been fractured or disconnected.

Have you accidently shut the wifi on on the laptop. Check to see if one of the keys on the keyboard is a shortcut to turn it off.
