VISTA - Trust Relationship between domain and client failed?

Hi,

when i try to log-in to username on the office domain server,
I'm getting this error on the laptop (operating system: windows vista) that trust relationship lost.
I found this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/162797 that talks about it,
As mentioned in the Resolution section, I logged-in now to the local computer username, and I have an administrator password to domain, but what next?

Anyone can PLEASE help me solve this issue?

here is what you need to do,

on that untrusted domain server logon with a local admin username

right click on my computer, then click properties

Click Change Button

select workgroup instead of domain and write any work group name your like (ex.: workgroup) you will be prompted for a domain username and a password enter them

you will be prompted to restart, do it



after the pc restarts login again with that same local admin account and right click on my computer then properties

so the same previous procedure excep that you will switch it this time to domain and type your actual domain name

click ok

you will be prompted for a username and password to your domain, enter them.

you should see a messgae welcome to domain xxxxxx

click ok, restart you should be don, now you can login into that server with the approporiate domain accounts.

The article is just telling you to remove the workstation from the domain and rejoin it. You need to be logged in as the LOCAL computer administrator to do this. Put it back in the Workgroup.
