"Remove Access" is gaining access to your files, often this is done simply in a command window and is etirely done with text commands.

Remote Desktop Control takes it much further. This alows you to literally take control over your computer just like you were sitting in front of it with a full graphical display of your computer.

While the terms are often used interchangeable (people often use remote access to mean remote desktop control), they are different.

Remote access simply means that you can see and access a file, folder or remote computer. If you have file sharing turned on with another computer on your network you have remote access to the files in that shared folder. When you use a torrent or peer to peer sharing program, you have remote access to that file.

Remote desktop control means that you can actually see another person's computer and take control of it so that you can run their computer from your keyboard and mouse just as if you were sitting in front of it using the attached keyboard and mouse. You have remote access, but also more in that you have full control of the computer.

No, they are not. Remote access is not a product, it simply is what it says it is: access from a remote location. This can be using SSH, VNC, but also via Remote Desktop for example. Remote Desktop is a technology by Microsoft which allows you to connect to a remote computer. Keep in mind that the remote computer cannot be running a Home edition of Windows, as Home editions do not support connecting to via Remote Desktop.

in remote desktop u can only use ur friend or others computer's desktop and u will access there system but did not copy the data on ur system. and in remote access you can download or upload the data on ur system.
