Seeding on torrents (Such as Bit Torrent) or peer-to-peer (such as Limewire) networks is a term used to describe a user where they are only uploading information, rather then just downloading (sometimes known as a leeching, this is considered to be bad practice) or both uploading or downloading.
This will be seen after you have completed a download, due to no longer having an active download of the file in progress. This is not compulsory what so ever and may be terminated immediately.
Super Seeding users are those who are deliberately dedicating their entire connection (or a large chunk of it) to be able to upload it. This is usually done by the initial users of the torrent to help it circulate.

Seeding means the download has finished but the file is still being made available to other users of the network for them to download from you (and will continue to be made so until you stop it).

seeding is when you are providing the data to other users. People are downloading it from you
