The easiest way to do it, is to go to your Outlook Express, go to Tools open options and choose the tab at the top called Maintenance.

You will see a folder in there in a box called message store. Copy and paste that, then do a search for it.

When you find the folder, copy and paste it to a location such as your documents folder, or once you get the location which is where Salman was talking about, you can copy it to a CD or another location.

Then on your new computer, open outlook express, and choose file and import messages. Choose OE 6 and follow the instructions, and browse to the location of your email folder that you copied.

To do the address book, you want to export it first either as .wab or csv and then import it the same way...

Copy the whole folder of OUTLOOK EXPRESS from this location C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{38DF4DB4-A63A-45B9-9E0F-C95A41}\Microsoft.

and paste this folder in this same location in our destination computer.

Note:

1) The user name would be as u defined ( your name ) or by default ADMINISTRATOR

2)In tools , folder options and view tab enable the hidden folder to view the system hidden folders.

The password is hung on the servers of your e mail service. as an celebration once you've a BT internet e mail handle, they have the password. you may telephone them up and request the password, and re-enter this into the account settings (on between the suitable menus). It shouldn't merely 'lose' your password inspite of the indisputable fact that, till you replaced it, so the priority might want to not be touching on to the password. in case you look on the blunders tab even as connecting, this is going to allow you to already know precisely what failed.
