IP is registered to your ISP, not your home address. That is probably where the ISP has a major connection to the Internet, and those IP addresses are registered at that location (main office?).

Some ISPs have multiple offices across a country, and switch internally to other routers to get to the Internet. The IP is only guaranteed to be in your country, nothing else is a sure thing... IP are allocted by country, and each country splits those up to different ISPs.

IP location sites are often wrong more than they are right.

If you want a fixed IP use a VPN.

Whatever you do don't fall for the bogus review on the so called best vpn review sites. They are all scams where the best reviewed VPN's are the ones that pay the review site the most money. Even the customer reviews on these sites are phoney.

Nothing you can do about it. The address returned for any IP address will always be for the geographical location of the issuing DHCP server. This can be in a different city, county, state or even country to you.

My ISP is in a city far away from me, so my IP address shows as being in the city the ISP is registered in. Nothing you can do about it.

I highly recommend using VPNPower to unblock sites. I have been with them since 5 years. http://www.vpnpower.net
