need wifi for when i go to canada. help please!!?

So im going to canada for 2 weeks and i need to access wifi. i am from the UK and i need a good amount of data for each day i need to be able to skype and use whatsapp. (200MB will be to small for example 1-2GB is a good size)

can anyone give me any recommendations on where to buy wifi for my iphone ?

Wifi is the same all over the world. If your phone supports wifi, then it will work in Canada the same as the UK.



Most hotels in the civilized world offer wifi access, many at no charge. Last time I stayed at a hotel in Canada they had wifi in the room for a fee or you could use it for free in the lobby.



All Starbucks and McDonalds restaurants have free wifi, everywhere in the world. You can always go into one of those to use their wifi. Many restaurants offer free wifi, it just happens to be a sure thing at McDonalds and Starbucks.



Depending on what town you are in, there may be wifi offered in a public place, like a plaza area. That kind of outdoor public wifi is rare in the US and Canada though.



You know wifi and "cellular data" are two different things, right?

Take your Wifi Router with you... but little that would do but just let you create a WLAN.



If you want internet Access your better bet would be just use your Phone... Many GSM phones support getting temporary service from other GSM networks... so you can use a Prepaid ISP while abroad.



If not you will have to call in advance at the Area your are visiting to set up a Internet connection for you to use.

hehe buy bigest wifi adapter usb u can find (omni antena) if u find a +20db omni adapter wifi then buy it ,u will get signal on 500meters with 3lines and 700m with 1 line ...ur not in jungle so there are a lot of wifi's .look for whitch ones are without pasword ...if all have then look for those with wep encription ,if u find one then crack it using comviewforwifi and aircrack-ng (youtube how to) but if ur unlucky and all have wpa2 then is more like imposible ,there are ways even for this but is very hard and require like 1000 computers to work together to break code ...also for larger distance look google on yaggi antenas or even cantenas those can go 10km range wifi
