Dude, you've got no network connection. I'm not going to sit here and explain the ins and outs of TCP/IP to you. Take a class or get a text book. But i can tell you that you have no network connection.

You either have to turn DHCP on, if your ISP wants you to use DHCP, or you have to fill in all of the networking information. Your ISP can give you the settings.

You have your Ethernet Port and the Wireless enabled on your computer, but you do not have a cable connected from the Ethernet port to a router/switch/hub, and there is no wireless network in range or you are connected to a wireless network. So unless you have a physical connection, then the layer 2 protocols cannot attempt to initialize. With the configuration of your computer, you would have to enable DHCP to connect to most service providers.

As mentioned to explain all of the fields would take to long in a chat room. Try connecting to a network and if you have some specific questions then ask them, but don't ask for an explanation of the world, unless you do not know that the answer is 42.

it isn't used a lot anymore... if you're typing Ipconfig into "run" interior living house windows then which will clarify why... form "Cmd" in first to grant a command window and then form ipconfig as time-honored.
