I have a SONY BRAVIA KDL-32L5000 and I really want to connect it to Netflix to watch movies instantly on my TV but I dont know how to connect it to the internet so I can watch movies. There is a port I discovered that was covered with a plug and above the plug it said "Service Only" but I popped it out anyways and I don't know if it supports USB or something else.

While many flat-panel televisions these days support streaming video (and other media formats), it appears from Sony's website that this does not have such a feature.

Typically the 'technology' is branded as DLNA, the Digital Lifestyle Network Alliance. It allows a TV with suitable network connectivity (usually Ethernet) to communicate to a DLNA media server.

A home server running something like FreeNAS could do this. I use it to stream music to audio devices, but the same can be done for a suitable DLNA TV with movies.
