I have high speed wireless internet but i have very poor signal in my room. My main concern is for my Xbox 360. When I play a game online sometimes i get really poor signal for an extended period of time. I know its because my poor signal to my modem. So should i buy an Ethernet cable and plug it directly into my Xbox and modem or should i just buy a WiFi signal repeater? which one would get me a better signal?

Go wired. It's the fastest. However, if having cables running across the house is a concern then use Power-over-Ethernet:

If you can get CAT 6 cable to the box economically, thats the best solution.

A wireless extender/repeater will work well also. Speed comparisons below;

Advantage of an extender is you will have support for other wireless devices... smartphones.. blueray... laptop. etc

wireless-n can give you 300 Mbps,

for CAT-6 you can get a theoretical 1 Gbps

1) buy a repeater it works a lot better i have one it work very well or option 2 is bridge mode your connection from your laptop making your WiFi straight thru connection with an Ethernet cable. I will provide a video with setup instructions.

basically you take Wifi and Ethernet connection select both wifi and ethernet then right click select bridge.

Good Luck

Well, cable conection depending of placement of your router. If is path where would cable go simple, then is better sollution cable. If is some complicated path or is visually ugly, then u should use enterner repeater. Up to you to figure.

Wired internet is faster then wireless, and doesn't normally cut out, or disconnect, so go with that.
