try the following (all or one of them):

1. restart router if still not working continue.

2. go to command prompt, type: ipconfig/release

then type: ipconfig/flushdns

then type: ipconfig/renew

3. reset router if still not working. then reconfigure it, generally it'll sync to your isp's dhcp servers automatically.

4. if all else fails yell profanity at it. then call tech support.

Interesting that u tried to set this thing manually, thats some effort on ur part. Why not trying to see if connecting to the Internet is automatic when u try to connect to new connection. Cox has been real helpful in the past for me, but u didn't mention ISP. The machine with XP, Vista and & can automatically detect settings under the tab of Internet Options> Connect to Internet>Manual Connection. Too many defaults for the IPv 6 address. Delete all that info and let the computer find one that is open. No IPv 4 either and the MAC address is OK ,but it may be in use for the other computer. Cox Cable allows 7 addresses, so let the computer find an open channel and then set passcodes as needed...

How are you attempting to connect at the same time with your pc? it by skill of stressed out or instantaneous? Is there any blunders message? if you're utilising stressed out connection you need to make certain all cables are appropriate and precise slotted to the right ports If instantaneous you need to make certain your NIC or community Interface card is receiving signal. ultimately you ought to study your firewall, router and device configuration settings to make certain no longer something of such is combating you from connecting. for extra information please visit
