I had DSL since the year of 2007 and the internet keeps dying every 30 minutes if i'm lucky the internet will stay on a couple hours than die. The only way to fix it is reset the modem but than the internet would just die in 30 minutes again. I called the Internet Provider (Lake Field) and they say they don't know what the problem is and it's not my modem because i have 2 differnt modems made from action tec and the internet still dyes on each one. Sometimes the lights would blink on and off on the DSL light. My friend has the same internet as me but it doesnt happen to him. his internet stays on forever with out dying out unlike mine and it makes me mad cuz when i play my video games online it just dyes on me.

Internet Speed: 3.0Mbps
Wireless: Yes
Internet Provider: lake field
Modem: Action Tec 54Mbps wireless/ethernet modem.

I see that you have wifi? Keep in mind that walls and floors kill the radio signal. It may work for awhile. Also you could have a neighbor using the same wifi channel. You have 11 to choose from. Go into the router and try another channel. Also cordless phones also interfere with wifi. A microwave that is between you and the router will also interfere. Give these things some thought.

Maybe an inside wiring issue. Alarm panals also cause issues. Have a tech come out to fix it. If youhave to pay, it may be worth it

I had the same problem, your phone might be the same frequency, or your neighbor's Wi-Fi might be the same, or their phone, or whatever. You should try moving your router to someplace with minimal electronics around it. Or, in the mean time, disable your Wi-Fi to see if that, In fact, is your problem.

clearly there is a problem with your internet connection, try contacting your ISP's tech support, or try doing a ping test to measure the quality also try doing a ping test on different sites to check if it resolves http://www.whoisxy.com/
