I have created a distribution list in my Outlook Express 2003 and I need to make the list available to my coworkers, who also use Outlook Express 2003 in the office. Does anyone have any tips on doing so?

Background:
I used Tools -> Address Book -> New Entry -> New Distribution List -> Add New
in order to add the contacts I want in the distribution list. So now it works fine in my Outlook Express, but the problem is I don't know how to get that list over to the coworkers.

Thanks in advance ladies and gents!

You will need to use a product such as Microsoft Exchange to share contacts, calendars and e-mails. Outlook Express can not share information if you are using it as a Pop E-mail client. Even with the regular Outlook product, you will need to use it with Exchange.

You can't just export the list. Even if you could just send the list to your coworkers, it would not have any context unless they have all of the exact same entries in their address books. The only way close to being able to share this information would be for you to export your address book to a file and then for your coworkers to import that file in their address books. That however will give your coworkers a copy of your entire address book, which is not something that you are probably looking to do.

You are doing it correctly by selecting Remove. Maybe your contacts in your address book are sorted in a different manner making it appear that it is deleted. Do you sort by first name or last name? And did you check your Contacts (not address book) to see if it was removed from there also? I know someone who thought they had the same problem but found that their address book was sorting by first name and their contacts were sorting by last name. They checked the address book and didn't see the last name, automatically assuming it was deleted. It may not be what is happening to you but it's worth a check. Good luck!
