hello every one, i brought a new D-Link N150 cloud Router. When i connected it with my PC for first time it directed me to setup wizard to configure router and as the internet cable is not active at that time, i simply configured the router with simple details. But now the internet cable is active and when i connected the router to configure it with IP address and wifi, it is not getting in to the wizard. i do reset the router and connected again but is not getting and i tried using my browser to enter in to the wizard manually as indicated by setup manual but it is not loading. Any help please.

>Do a reset again for 30 seconds with a pin

>check again physical setup modem to WAN port of router and PC to LAN port

>check the light status (p, wireless, wps, lan and internet might be lit)

>once all green then open cmd pmt and type ipconfig

>check the ip address, subnet and default gateway from router (e.g 192.168.0.2 is ur ip and 0.1 is def.gateway)

>if u r not getting ip then try Disable/Enable LAN connection from network connection

>try in different LAN ports and swap the cables also and check

> once if u get above ip then it's a valid ip of router now enter it in browser and do the setup along with wireless

Hope it helps

First you should NEVER try to configure a router until you have a proper connection available. Second you should NEVER need to configure IP details. When you first set it up it should get Internet configurations automatically and then issue its' own internal IP details to your computer. you may have made changes to it which will totally stop it from working. Your only option is to use the hard reset as described in the manual. Then make sure your computer's TCP/IP properties are all set to be automatic. Then only configure anything on it using the network cable connection.

You screwed up by trying to configure something that wasn't working properly, and you probably entered information preventing a connection. Remove ALL software related to your router (you should use a program DESIGNED for software removal so no files are left over just deleting the application WILL NOT I REPEAT IT WILL NOT WORK RIGHT!) once your router software has been successfully removed reconnect the router, and reinstall the software, you will be given the setup wizard again AND YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL WHILE ENTERING INFORMATION or you will just do this all over again!

did you configure your pc with a static ip address not in range with the router's ip pool or did you change the routers ip address or maybe disabled router's wireless interface? If so change your pc's ip configuration to dynamic or automatic and reset the router to its default configuration
