I have the Huawei Ascend g510 smartphone (purchased less than a month ago), and broadband wi-fi (provided by Eircom). I hadn't experienced any problems with the phone or broadband before in relation to wifi connections but all of a sudden the phone just stopped connecting to the wifi. The phone is able to connect to other wifi connections, and other people are able to connect to my wifi, so i dont know where the problem lies. I've tried 'forgetting' the network and re-connecting etc but to no avail, the phone is joined to the network but refuses to 'connect'. Everytime it says there is an 'Authentication Problem'. Anyone who can please help!!

Check your WIFI client. Disconnect all clients, change password then connect again. So much client is may cause of it.

Not a solution but someone who shares your pain. I have the same phone. Data internet works fine(paid for over the mobile network of course), but connecting to my home wifi isn't working. In fact, wifi is on but no network comes in range. If you check your advanced settings, like I have, you will most likely notice that the MAC number is now reading 00.00.00.00.00.00 and your ip address reads as unavailable. Someone told me to try to set the ip address to static which can also be done in the advanced settings and this solves the problem. Works for some people, but didn't work for me. I went abroad for a week and used international data roaming, and when I returned, my wifi was functioning correctly again, however, 16 days later the problem came back again and I still have no solution. NOTHING works for me. Perhaps you'll have better luck with the static settings than I had. Good luck
