This absolute lunatic who is merely a friend of a former friend of mine, has been attacking me and my friends, and my public image, for months now. They are writing blogs on their deviantart account that I am a pedophile, a drug addict, how I got fired for stealing drugs from the pharmacy where I worked, telling people I am a stalker, that I am a racist and say the N word and want to kill non-white races, lots of very untrue and defaming things. This person cannot be reasoned with, they went after my ex girlfriend and told her these things, that I am a pedophile, that I am dangerous, to block me, to turn on me and have others turn on me, everything was said publicly and in emails. I have saved the web pages into my folders and saved the emails they sent me saying they were going to destroy me and my facebook page. They obviously are not going to stop. Not a single thing they say is true nor can be proven and its absolute lies and slander. What exactly can I do about this, this needs to stop as I have lost a lot of friends. Do I have a case here, who can I contact and what can I do?

Could print out all the "slander" , if its up on sites, it will be there and printable, can use that as evidence, but would need a LOT to support "slandering" versus "harassing" vs "picking on someone". So if you have multiple sites, multiple points, it could be done, could take it to the police / lawyer , see what you can do.

You'll need to hire an attorney to handle this case with law enforcement and the individual. You need to figure out how much this person's comments are hurting you. The attorney should be able to help you figure this out.

Well, if they are definitely untrue, you could contact a lawyer and weight your options.
