Question:
How do I tell if my email was sent?

I sent an email to my internet friend, and it said when I sent it "problem sending email, please try again."
But usually when it does that (it has done it before) it sends them the email twice when I send it again.

So I looked in my sent box, and it said that it was sent, so I assumed that it was.

But my friend never replied, and he usually always replies really soon.

I don't know if he is just not replying, or if it really didn't send.

So if it's in the Sent box, does that ABSOLUTELY mean that it sent? Should I send it again?

That would suck if he's just not replying. D:

Help!??

I'm using AOL, btw

That's what you get for using AOL ...Just joking...

If the SENT box tells you that it was sent than it was. The only other way would be to enter your e mail address also when you e mail than you would know for sure. Or simply ask your friend if she got it.

There are also settings where your e mail provider will send you a message to tell you exactly IF and When any one open your mail.

Good luck

once it's in your sent box it's sent.. check the email address make sure it's correct... if u feel like sending it again go ahead no big deal if you send it twice :)

The easiest way to solve this problem is to get a sender report, whereby the user has to click receipt of email before they can see what the email is.

It sounds like it was sent if its in the sent box.

Or maybe you have the wrong email address?

Or just wait :P

My bet would be that you have a typographical error in the email address that you sent it to.

btw, why aol? have you tried gmail?
