Windows DSL asking for dial up connection?

Question

My internet should be always on, but when I open Internet Explorer, it asks for a dial up connection. I don't know how to change this. Can anyone please give me step by step info on how to change my Internet options?

From the IE screen click Tools then Internet Options then the Connections tab. You will see there is a button that says "Never Dial a Connection" Click on that and then click Apply at the bottom. Your IE is probably set to dial a connection and needs to be told not to do that.

go to tools>internet options>connection. There you can see three radio buttons. Select always dial my default connection or Dial whenever a network connection is not present. One should work, I hope.

pass on your administration panel and click on the internet icon. Then look for the relationship component of it and make optimistic that the "by no skill use Dail up" is checked. If that doesn't artwork pass to an identical section and delete the dail up settings and which will end the dail up. merely be optimistic to place in writing down you settings before changing them so which you would be able to pass back to them if necessary.
