I'm in a foreign country with hard to find internet connections so I am using a dongle to connect from anywhere. The dongle is with Vodafone.

The problem I'm having is that every time I connect to the internet it creates a new private network, I am now up to Local area network #23 and it continues to increase each time I use the dongle.

I have tried to rename the network when I use the internet but it always says that any number below where I've already reach (so 23 and under) is already being used.

Any ideas for this? I don't want to be up to #300 networks before I get home

You need the LAN to make the computer work as the LAN enables it to pick up the local network for whichever area you are in, I realise the dongle is doing that at present but you need to keep your LAN. I use a t-mobile dongle but still need the LAN to get the t-mobile network. LAN is like an aerial booster for the dongle. Good Luck

there is not any longer something incorrect with IE7. that's a delusion that Firefox is a 'greater proper' browser. i take advantage of IE7 with much less RAM than you and that i do no longer adventure any problems with tabbed surfing. Are you particular there is not any longer yet another technique it is inflicting this issue? If homestead windows updates clicks in while you're surfing it could sluggish your device down. the subsequent time this happens verify what techniques are working by utilising skill of activity supervisor.

okay to remove those networks with Win 7, go to Control panel>Network and sharing Center>Manage Network Connections, and Right click the one(s) you want to remove, and select Remove.
