Why's my Computer Crashing?

I know this is probably not the best place to get my computer problem diagnosed, but here goes:

I noticed Internet Explorer going extremely slowly. I didn't think much of it. I just thought that my luck with IE had finally run out and I had to get another browser. I downloaded Google Chrome, and it would run well for 5 minutes, and then both browsers would crash (after checking both). I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but got the same result. I also tried the same thing with Firefox. Same result.

Now, I can't copy and paste from the internet to my Microsoft Works Word Processor without it crashing.

I've been running Avast and Ccleaner, but nothing's being picked up. When the internet/browsers stop working, I notice that my ZoneAlarm Firewall is showing that there's traffic going out, but nothing coming in (at least that's what I'm interpretting).

What am I missing? Is it an unknown virus? A trojan? Something else? Please help if you have any idea of what's going on.

Try downloading firefox it seems imo to be much more stable then IE with errors in pages and such. As far as copy and pasting this might help not sure what version your running, have you tried the reset all options in IE, that might help some. Might even try to download mbam from malwarebytes.org and run a scan might have a trojan this might help. good luck .

A computer's registry is one big database that has numerous files, options, and settings. These settings and options keep changing with every second of you using your PC and can lead to the damage of some of these settings. This causes errors to show up and the computer to crash. Therefore, if your computer keeps crashing and need to fix blue screen of death a good registry cleaner is all you need. Your computer can also cause problems because of redundant files in its registry.
