In Windows 98 there was a program named 'Net Watcher'
who tells us that who is connected with our computer and sharing data which i have shared for local users through LAN NETWORK and in that program i had rights to stop any user who is carrying files my computer without my permission and let those peoples to chare data from my computer whom i gave permission. This program was built in with Windows 98

Kindly tell me in Windows XP 2002 Professional Version SP2, is there software like 'Net Watcher' where i can see that who is copying files from my computer to his/her computer, which i have shared.

I Have read many topics on it in XP Help files but i couldn't find that type of program. Please Help

You can tell who is connected and if people are transferring files by viewing Shared Folders within Computer Management.

Right click on My Computer

Left Click on Manage

Double-Click on Shared Folders

Select either:

Shares

Sessions

Open Files

If anyone is connected or is transferring files youll see it within one of these categories.

IP's at the instant are not quite assigned to computers persay... they're assigned to community units. If a working laptop or computing device has dissimilar community units, it in essence has dissimilar IP's by the way you're thinking of it. anyhow, the two computers could have diverse IP's assigned to their on the spot community card units, yet by way a community works with internet connection sharing (that's, computers make requests to the router and then the router sends request and is quite merely passing messages from side to side between the internet and computers on community), all computers on your community would be seen as having the comparable IP on the internet. this may not oftentimes reason complications although, for a definite ingredient that i won't be able to describe cuz i'm no expert in computing device networking lol.
