nba2k14 issues. cannot connect to servers but I am in way?

I hopped on the ps4 to play some 2k. Noticed myteam and nba today was missing but did not get unable to connect to server message. And it says checking for internet connection at the bottom of main screen. But when I go to features It shows my vc and lets me connect to myplayer store. But when I try to play mycareer or mygm it says "this save requires an active connection to the 2k sports servers" please help

I have to same problem. My brother has a profile on xbox 1 and so do I. And I logged into his account and his myplayer was working just fine then I turned off my Xbox 1 and signed into mine and myplayer doesn't work on my account.

Smh. Servers still down. Nba2k14 is the only game I have on the Xbox One. We should all be given free gold xbox live months and VC for this. I've been trying every twenty minutes for the past 12 hours and nothing after I previously played in "The Park" flawlessly for hours it just stopped connecting to the 2k sports severs. Anyone know about forwarding ports on the router?? Will that help any??

It's not the 2k server apparently. I started a new offline my career and just left immediately to go to the park and it works fine. I'm in line waiting for a pick up game. My guy has on the clothes I bought for the old player for some reason. I can't see my ranking either. I hope I'm not a 25 lol........UPDATE again. I played multiple successful games but when I left the park to apply VC it says 0 VC Smh. It was nice to get some online playing time in but 2k has to get it together....

The same thing is seeming to happen to me. Last night around midnight when I signed on to play mycareer was not working and nbatoday and myteam are gone. My home screen has a message at the bottom saying "checking for internet connection when I know the connection is fine because everything else in my house connected is working and everything else on the Xbox one that requires a internet connection is working.i called 2k but the line is saying all circuits are busy. Spending this kinda money on games and them not working is a serious problem. I would like to know as well if a solution for this is found asap.

Same problem here on Xbox One. I haven't been able to play a Head to Head or Team-Up game since I purchased the game. I can't connect to any of my friends' Locker Rooms. Upon loading it says "2K Servers not available at this time." And now, to make matters worse, I can't even play MyTeam or MyCareer because it says "Checking for internet connection." at the main menu. I'm literally only allowed to play a Quick Game against the CPU.

This has been happening to me for a day and a half, I spent 7 straight hours trying to connect just starting the game and when it didn't work id close the application and do it again. This was getting very stressful so I called 2k and after 20 minutes of waiting I spoke to a 2k sports representative, he said the servers are down due to too much people on it. He said the only thing I can do is wait a couple of hours and try again. I also asked if 2k is working on patching this he said yes they are currently working on a solution.

I'm upgrading my players attributes in my career mode and BAM it exits me out and here I am over 24+ hours later and I Still can not access mycareer because I 'need an active connection' when clearly I have one, 2k just has **** servers. Right now in my myplayer I am leading 3-0 in the NBA finals and I woke up this morning and thought I was going to play game 4 and NOPE! This is bullshit. I was playing at about 2:30 a.m. on 12-29 and I was on the servers. Then it kicked me back to the home screen and the servers haven't been available since. I've reset the xbox and my router both, but the internet works fine. I'm typing this on my wi-fi only ipad so... I just wish they would fix it.

This is a huge problem that is two-fold. On one hand, you have the inability to really play most of the game offline (this is why "always online" play is a pipe dream and a huge cluster.



Secondly, 2K has dropped the ball with endless bugs and issues since launch. Currently the servers are bogged down, so the game is unplayable for many people right now anyway. My Career that I've been working on this whole time right now is missing from the game.

The only difference is that this is started on Christmas eve. Every time I played MyC or MyGM, it would automatically return me to the title screen. Every single time. The next day, I contacted 2K customer support on Christmas day and until today I still haven't received a reply. It's almost been 6 days...good job 2K keeping your customers happy. Two days later, NBA Today was missing from the screen and it had "checking internet connection." on the bottom even though my internet was up and running. I couldn't connect to MyC or MyGM and it would ask me to create a new file instead...no, thank you. This went on for the last two days. Today, everything seemed fine and promising. I loaded MyC and it started working...okay, looking good so far...Played the first half...still good...played the second half...this is too good to be true...we lost the game (kinda rusty since I haven't played MyC in the last 6 days thanks to 2K) and then the post-game interview comes up right on cue....THEN the game crashes and now I'm back at the Xbox One menu. Great. This is very frustrating...I've been reading around this thread and everybody seems to be on the same page with the same problems. Also, just like many of you, my brother is not having any problems with his MyC or MyGM and he's using the same 2k account as me. I'm going well over 24 hours with no access to MyCareer. Only thing thats working for me is "quick game". 2k changed my MyPlayer and its all messed up. Thankfully my 60,000 VC is still there as well as the the actual FILE to the MyCareer I started. Does anyone know anything about what 2k sports are doing to fix this? It's upsetting that they would let this happen for so long and not do anything. EVEN an official statement from 2K would make me feel a lot better but I guess they aren't speaking on the issue....

After struggling with this for hours. I called up 2K and after waiting on hold for about 45 mins. I was told there's nothing we can do but wait till the servers come back up. the fact that I paid 70 euros for a game that I can only play when 2k decides;

that I can't curse in the privacy or my own home without getting penalized by Kinect;

They refunded me my VC - actually gave me over 1million VC but I can only access it in my player not my career.
