I'm about to remote into a computer using netmeeting, but i think somebody has to be at the other computer to accept the call, I can't just automatically get in, right? does anyone have any instructions or something on this thing??

You should use Remote Assistance, if you have windows XP that gives you better functionality than net meeting.

the computer you are remoting into does have to be set up already. If so, you just type the ip address and connect. As long as its configured properly on the other end, you should be fine. I use netmeeting in school.

no they don't, you just have to login to the web site, once you do you will be connected in , once the meeting starts you will see the presenters desktop (or whatever they are sharing)
you shoul dof received a link along witha login/passwd/meeting ID
click on the link, enter your meeting ID, login, password, and display name and wait for the presenter to start the meeting.
now you will need some software installed on your PC for it to work but the web site will inform you if it needs to install it and even installit for you (this is a one time thing)
