I'm using XP Pro / MC. I'd like to use remote desktop amongst my LAN. When I try to access any other computer from mine I get the error "this domain/work group does not contain any terminal servers."

I can connect to the computers via remote using MSN messenger, but am trying to have a easier use of doing it with out haveing to create an MSN account for each computer.

Terminal services is running on my computer, I am not sure what else needs to be done to get it up and running properly. I do not currently have any computers running windows server, and was hoping that I could use XP Pro to run the terminal server from, anyone able to help?

Turn on Remote Desktop, then enter the ip address of the pc you want to connect with.

Hardware: changing the processor and motherboard might desire to recommend you may desire to re-activate, so which you may might desire to activate two times in case you put in the SW first. ideally, you may re-format and do a clean setting up of XP, yet that takes greater time. Cheers

I think what you want is REMOTE DESKTOP. It really has nothing at all to do with terminal servers!
