The other day, my computer teacher took control of another students computer through his. I do not believe this was remote desktop. Whatever he did on his computer showed up on the other. He would move his cursor, and the cursor on the other computer would move where he wanted it. He would type on his computer, and it would appear on the other computer also. My curiosity is dieing to know how this works. All the computers are running on a students server. I don't know if that has any affect, but does anybody know how to do this?

Take a look at VNC software. VNC makes a lot of sense in this case as you don't have to setup a NetMeeting to share the view/control. RemoteDesktop, as you said, would disable one of the screens. Someday, maybe, Microsoft will create a true multi-user system that really does support multiple users at the same time (and not just a process running in the background, but several users sharing a single system).

Most of the Training Institute or school/college use their won designed or demand net classroom application, like NIIT use netschooll.

There are many remote desktop application available. VNC is very popular, and Symantec's pcAnywhere most powerful. you can even control your PC from a Pocket PC by pcAnywhere.

PC Anywhere from Symantec does remote desktop. You can also use the built-in XP Remote Assistant. I've used that in my home network and it works great.
