I want to setup a remote desktop connection at my home pc so that i can access my work server right from home!

what would i need to do to set up a rem desk connection over the internet?

google "remote desktop step by step guide" IN short you have to 1. configure your firewall 2. router to allow remote access 3. and have the account that remotely logs in, in the remote desktop users group. On your routers page there should be a port forwarding option. You'll want to open port 3389 and send it to the designated computer. If you want to remote into more than 1 computer on the LAN you'll have to use different ports and open them on the designated computer, by adding a registry key.
